Self-taught full-stack web developer by passion, a mechanical engineer by qualification and an avocational musician.
After understanding supervised and unsupervised learning, I wanted to dig into the engine that drives machine learning: the algorithms themselves. Algorithms are the step-by-step instructions that help machines learn from data — and while they may so...
I came across two foundational types of machine learning : supervised and unsupervised learning. At first, they sounded like complicated categories, but now I see them as two simple ways of teaching machines — either by guiding them or letting them e...
A few weeks ago, I decided to start learning about Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML). I had heard these terms thrown around in tech circles, but I never really understood what they meant and why they mattered so much. So I decide...
During these weeks, we developed a wallet application using TypeScript to ensure strict type safety throughout the project. The tech stack included Next.js for both the frontend and backend of the main app, Express for building an auxiliary webhook s...
This week we learned about the concept and benefits of using monorepos and the Turborepo framework. Monorepos allow multiple projects or packages to be managed within a single repository, which is advantageous for full-stack engineers due to easier d...
This week, we learned about how Docker facilitates the packaging of applications and their dependencies into containers, ensuring consistency across various environments and enabling seamless integration with orchestration platforms like Kubernetes. ...
This week, we explored Next.js, a React framework for building efficient web apps. We learned about its server-side rendering capabilities, file-based routing, API routes, and other optimizations like caching. We delved into the water-falling issue i...
This week, we developed a blog application with React and TypeScript for the frontend, employing Hono for the backend HTTP server. Our backend was deployed on Cloudflare Workers, utilizing PostgreSQL as the database and Prisma as the ORM. Throughout ...
Week-12 of the 100xdevs cohort consisted of discussions on various topics such as CDNs and deploying Frontend to AWS, advanced TypeScript APIs, SQL joins and relationships, Prisma relations, and connection pooling. Details are as follows: CDN and Dep...
